When Emma was small I bought one made part raggedy and part porcelain, I never new the history behind it until now. Thanks for the story thou very sad. I'll have to pass it on to my daughter so she'll know a little more about this precious doll.

I loved Raggedy Ann and Andy. I even had Curtains in my room with Raggedy Ann on them and a matching bedspread which I still have stashed away, along with my Raggedy Ann doll ( I grew up in the 70's so they must be over 30 yrs old now-wow, I am getting old) Thanks for the story

What a sweet and lovely story. Each time I see a Raggedy Ann now, I will think of this tale and how she came to be.
