My mom makes these – she got the recipe from someone at work a long time ago. We add a little of the powdered sugar to the coconut to make them easier to roll (they get *really* sticky, but it’s worth it!)

I like them best after they’ve sat out for about a day – the outside starts to dry out and “crisp up” a little.

Glad there are other fans of these out there. We always called them “Orange Coconut Balls”

I have looked and looked for this recipe. My Grandma made these for us in the ’70’s and I loved them. Thank you for posting it!!!
