Even though it is the middle of spring here in South Dakota and we are busy with spring planting a heavy rainstorm these past few days has driven me indoors. How much fun I have had discovering your site and looking at your cozy Christmas decor. I am looking forward to revisiting your site!

The basket on top of my living room armoire is filled with dried hydrangeas… my favorites!

We’ve just started working on the cottage garden courtyard, and surrounding plantings around the edge of the forest, and if there is one plant that I want to dominate the area… it is the wonderful hydrangea! Not only are they gorgeous on the plant itself, but there are so many things you can do with them – such as filling a nice basket in your home

* Now… if I can just keep all of the pretty little deer away…
