The smell, the colors, the taste.....wonderful!

Isn't it something, how our memories seem so "romantic", when looked at through years of perspective!

As a child we are not yet able to distinguish the fullness of what's going on around us, because we are just enjoying life as it comes. But, as an adult, we have the privilege of looking back (akin to skipping to the back of the book) through the eyes of time, and seeing the awesome beauty in little simplistic moments - such as you picking grapes on your grandma's farm... or me stringing beans on my great grandma's farmhouse porch.

Don't you just love life! ;)

I love your grapes story. I will NEVER forget the smell of grapes as we picked them off my grandparents vine when ripe. I hadn't thought about that for years until just this moment. What a wonderful sweet smell from all the fruit and vegetables in their wonderfully huge garden. The abundance of it all was not noticed by a young child, but the memories of an older woman now seem so enchanting. That you for allowing me to remember such loveliness.
