I grew up surrounded by a grape vineyard. The air was heavenly in the fall. I am growing concord grapes along my fence and can't wait for the wonderful smell. As a child we are not yet able to distinguish the fullness of what's going on around us, because we are just enjoying life as it comes. But, as an adult, we have the privilege of looking back (akin to skipping to the back of the book) through the eyes of time, and seeing the awesome beauty in little simplistic moments - such as you picking grapes on your grandma's farm... or me stringing beans on my great grandma's farmhouse porch. Don't you just love life! ;) Isn’t it something, how our memories seem so “romantic”, when looked at through years of perspective!
